Ivan Arias is graduated as Slavic philologist by the Barcelona´s University (​​1996-2000). Ivan has a Master in Audiovisual Translation (2012) and a Diploma of high level of Russian language issued by the State School of Languages in 2000.

On the professional side, Ivan has worked on a lot of national and international projects, developed in Spain, Russia (1997-1999), France (2006-2007) and the Czech Republic (2008-2011), Ukraine and Russia (2022-2023). All of these projects are related to the management of ground operations (aviation sector) and as interpreter and translator on a high level.

In 2011, he founded the translation agency TRADINFO, combining his work as a English, Russian, French, Czech and Ukrainian translator-interpreter with the representation of some foreign air carriers in different Spanish Airports, including CSA Czech Airlines, Aeroflot, Ukraine International Airlines, SkyUp, Bees Airlines, FlyOne or Belavia – Belarusian Airlines in the company TRADINFO AVIAKOM.

Since the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Spain in 2015 has resumed its diplomatic activity, Ivan cooperates with this Embassy as an accredited sworn translator-interpreter, ​​although he had already been giving support to Belarusian citizens since 2012, as per the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in France request. For all the aforementioned, Ivan has received an official Note of Gratitude issued by the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in France, acknowledging the offered support for the provision of such services.

During the 2022, he has been cooperating with the International Committee of the Red Cross acting as Russian interpreter in the Donetsk Region.

Until August 2023, he has been cooperating with the International Committee of the Red Cross as a Russian and Ukrainian interpreter in Odesa.
